Team

How the editorial team is structured.

NECCLAUSE is a small editorial operation. The team page describes how it is constituted, who governs methodology, and how the contributor network is run.

Editorial operation

One editorial desk, written from inside the work.

Writing is produced by the NECCLAUSE editorial desk, drawing on live UK NEC contract administration. The desk operates under the editorial principles set out on the Trust page.

The publication is signed in the institutional first-person. Posts are not bylined by individuals. Credibility comes from the methodology, the contributor network, and the public record references the writing draws on — not from credentialing the people behind the desk.

Contributor network

Where the data comes from.

The Benchmark is built on a contributor-consent model. UK infrastructure programmes contribute outcome data on their own contracts under a published consent statement. The network is recruited and maintained by the editorial desk; contributors are not named publicly unless they choose to be.

Contributor recruitment opens in Month 9 alongside the methodology paper.

Methodology Council

Independent methodology oversight.

A standing council of three to five named experts reviews material methodology changes and adjudicates critique submitted during the public review window. Council members are listed on the Council page once appointed; appointments target Month 6.
